Hi Kathleen, This is not accurate. We do not use “fake” products, and we do not treat Groupon clients differently. All wrinkle treatments performed at our clinic use FDA-approved neuromodulators. Your Groupon was for a specific product, and that product was administered as purchased. “Botox” is often used as a general term, but there are multiple FDA-approved brands available. We scheduled you for a touch-up because results can vary from person to person, and adjustments are sometimes needed after an initial treatment. While the promotion mentions “unlimited units,” for medical safety reasons neurotoxin dosing is always determined by the provider based on individual anatomy and FDA-approved protocols. There is no such thing as truly unlimited dosing in medical practice. The product included in the promotion is FDA-approved and effective. We also offer other brands as optional upgrades for clients who may have a personal preference, but there is never an obligation to upgrade.
