I got my laser hair removal last week at this spa, and am unfortunately writing this review to help anyone else out that might want to get treated here. From the beginning they changed my appointment, and I didn’t receive many options on other times I could go, just a change in time and day. During the appointment I wasn’t asked any questions to see if there were any creams, or preventions I should take because of the treatment I was receiving. I didn’t find the appointment very informing, it felt like they wanted to get me in and out the door, and I wish I would’ve had more explanation on the treatment and after card. I also didn’t get to even make an appointment because they took my payment and just said goodbye. I wish the costumer service experience would’ve been smooth, and welcoming, maybe having someone at the reception would’ve felt less rushed as the technicians themselves do check in and out, which makes the process rushed. Wouldn’t recommend even if you already have done laser, there are also different types of laser and clients to know pre and post care for any beauty treatment.

We are disappointed to hear you didn’t enjoy your appointment with us and we hope to clear up what appears to be a misperception from your experience.
Firstly we do have a front desk attendant, the confusion might be a result of her joining you during your consultation as she is fluent in Spanish which was your preferred language, our trained technician then performed the service you requested.
Besides the consent form, through the appointment our team provided detailed information regarding treatment and post care. We always try to take the appropriate time with our clients and in fact schedule significant time in between bookings to accommodate our clients questions. Though even this diligence can be challenged when a client arrives 30 minutes behind scheduled appointment time.
Finally, the checkout process was efficient as we did not take your payment as you purchased your package through a 3rd party. Our front desk did however take the time to book your follow up appointment currently scheduled for Aug 30th.
I hope we have adequately addressed any concerns and are always available for any questions regarding treatment, scheduling and post care over the phone.

I purchased a Groupon hopeful since the place seemed nice. Unfortunately I didn’t receive the service I expected. From the beginning the service felt rushed, not sure why I wasn’t explained well how the service would work, about the machine and aftercare. I was given the service promptly and was out the door in less than 10 minutes, and due to this I didn’t know that I couldn’t receive sun exposure after the treatment, and have been left with hyperpigmentation from the laser. I developed a rash and had to go to my doctor to get prescription to treat the rash and discoloration that I suffered shortly after the treatment. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend a place that doesn’t give proper aftercare and information to their clients. I want to add that I didn't receive an aftercare protocol, and my appointment time was changed without any advice via call or text, which was unconsiderate.

We sincerely apologize that our service did not meet your expectations! You received laser hair removal on one small area which typically does not take a long time, which is why your treatment may have felt quick. We did call you the day before your appointment to confirm, and did ask if it was ok that you came at a different time in advance. We take the health and safety of our clients very seriously, and I am sorry it seems that was not demonstrated to you. Our technicians do try to be as thorough as possible in explaining the laser hair removal process before starting treatment, as, especially in the summer when the sun is out, the risk of hyperpigmentation is elevated. Additionally, we do have all of our clients fill out a consent waiver before their appointment explaining the potential risks of laser hair removal as well as the conditions that must be met for you to receive the treatment. The waiver does explicitly state the risk of hyperpigmentation and to avoid sun exposure before and after treatment. You did sign this waiver on the day of your appointment, but we are sorry you were not adequately informed of the aftercare and side effects. While we'd love the opportunity to regain your trust, we understand how frustrated you must be. We have tried to reach out to you as we would love to further discuss the situation with you and gain a better understanding of what happened. Loved my session. The space is clean and beautifully decorated. All the staff are super friendly. My laser session was quick and painless and I didn’t feel rushed as my technician really took her time to answer all my questions and explain post treatment care. Can’t wait to go back
