I had greek style and my wife had fra diavolo and they were both great. Plenty of medium size mussels and plenty of great bread to sop up any left over sauce. Delicious!

I love your restaurant, but you made it entirely too confusing for us, and apparently the table next to us too, when using the groupon. It would have been easier to give us a menu from which to choose specific items rather than assign dollar values to each portion of the meal. In the end, I figured out how you were doing your system, but I can see how many people would feel they were being cheated. When it says 2 apps, 2 entrees, and 2 glasses of wine, don't make it so complicated. You want your customers to enjoy the experience, not feel like you are 'tacking on' extra charges.

My groupon included 2 beers, but they charged us for them anyway. Very unprofessional and untrained.

They are always out of least one beer & menu item. Also took us > 20 min to pay the bill.

I thought for a place being called the mussel pot the mussels would be amazing, I was very disappointed. Essex restarant has a much better mussel pot and they don't brag about it. Master the cuisine before you name the place after it.

From Our Editors

The Mussel Pot's warm dining-room color scheme evokes aromatic foodstuffs with a palette of cream, cocoa, and rich brown shades that whet diners' appetites for the feast ahead. Owners and twins Alex and Leo Baskin designed the eatery as an ode to seafood that would offer lobster, oysters, and the house-signature mussels in their traditional incarnations alongside more daring, comfort-fare-inspired preparations. Executive chef Ronnie Esposito, formerly of NYY Steak, crafts nearly two dozen dishes showcasing the eponymous mussels alongside other seafood selections. Aromatic cauldrons of bite-size mussels simmer in traditional broths and sumptuous sauces, highlighting flavor profiles borrowed from cultures around the world. A fresh lemongrass-and-curry broth recalls Thai cuisine, and spiced Cajun smoke channels Louisiana in a deliciously jumbled gumbo of andouille sausage and crawfish.
