The tour was wonderful! The tour guide had a wealth of knowledge. Tip wise...carry cash, there are a lot of great vendors in the area ,don't forget a umbrella, and wear good walking shoes!

Highly recommend this tour. The Harlem of today was a delight and Caroline's knowledge and love of her neighbourhood made the tour a truly memorable experience. Loved the hour we spent at the Baptist service. Tremendous joy and community spirit. Best part of our NYC trip.

Nice tour. Harlem was a welcome surprise compared to the picture non-New Yorkers have been given over the years. It was a wonderful place, not to mention a place with good soul food.

I've been to a lot of walking tours. Our tour guide was a local harlemite and she was extremely knowledgeable about the places and history. Definitely would do it again

We really loved our Renaissance tour with our gracious and knowledgeable guide! Impressed that they honored our reservation even though my husband and I were the only ones signed up! Ended with lunch at Sylvia's (yumm!) but note that lunch is not included with Group on.

Our tour guide had extensive knowledge of the area and is obviously passionate about the local community. The tour was good value.

Landmarks such as the legendary Apollo Theater, Columbia University, and the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine open up to guests, providing a casual, intimate view that can’t be attained on an unaccompanied stroll or while being chased by a clown car.
