Yo In Yo Out, Manhattan

Food was unique, fresh, and delicious. Iced latte was warm and way overpriced since I wasn't made properly. Regardless of that fact, the experience was lovely.

Service was poor at first. Waiter didn't know how to use the groupon and redeemed it before taking the info and didn't know what he'd done. Manager was accommodating and everything ended up well. Crepes were great. Place is a little dirty. Could use some major interior cleaning.

My husband and I visited on a Friday night at 8:30 and at one pint in our visit we were the only people in the place. I think the lack of traffic has had a negative effect on the food quality. I enjoyed my soup, which had a tasty broth, but the crouton had a stale/freezer burn taste. I also had the Boeuf Bourguignon. I was expecting a velvety stew, but the sauce was a very thin gravy and somehow the beef, which should have been tender and succulent, was dry and chewy. I had really looked forward to trying this place, but I was ultimately disappointed.

I had ordered the Beef Bourgignon. The beef wasn't as tender as I had hoped and also I thought there could have been more beef on the plate. The dessert crepe was light and delicious.
