Great gluten free primrose tea!

The atmosphere was really charming, and the service was good. Nice tea selection. The soup was excellent, and the scone was hot and really fluffy (more of a cake than a scone). Raspberry sorbet was nice. The actual tea tray of sandwiches was where it went downhill. Very sub standard. One chicken pecan salad and one egg salad , both bland with no seasoning. One croissant with a thin strip of cheap lunchmeat inside. The other sandwiches were literally the cheapest lunchmeat on dry or burnt bread. One other sandwich was a slice of apple with mayo. It was worse than a kindergarten school lunch. Now we know why the place was empty on a Saturday. We left many sandwiches on the tray with a bite taken out. No fruit or cheese on the tray. Desserts very limited. Two of the 4 desserts on top were not tasty at all. Bread pudding was ok, and I can't even recall the 4th it was so unremarkable.i told out server We were disappointed with the sandwiches, and she told me that the regular menu sandwiches use higher quality meats?!? We were a bit baffled by that. We like to go out for high tea as a treat and we made a special trip for this place, but we'd not go back. There are better places in Bothell and Seattle! Both ladies working there told us that they'd never been to another high tea, and didn't seem to be aware that other places serving high teas existed, wanted to know where they were located? Yikes. The owners and their staff really need to visit their competitors in the greater area to figure out how to correct their mistakes. Otherwise this restaurant isn't going to last.

Delightful experience. Delicious food and tea, pleasant surroundings and service.

It was a great place to have tea and food! Will be back. Very friendly.
