At Yoga Lightspace, instructors share the same strong passion for yoga, although they represent a variety of different approaches towards it. For the studio's founder and proud owner, Audrey Le, yoga was a way to relieve stress connected with her medical training. Later she realized that it was also a perfect way to give something back to the community of her beloved city, New Orleans. Now, she takes a great deal of pride and satisfaction in showing students of all ages and walks of life the physical and mental benefits associated with yoga practice. Another instructor, Lori Byargeon, has a background in dancing, which makes her yoga classes more movement-oriented and therefore designed to empower anatomical alignment. Steve Doucet, on the other hand, focuses more on the philosophical aspects of yoga, although he doesn't shy away from good old strength training. Nine yoga teachers offer classes ranging from gentle-to-moderate to high-intensity in a relaxing, tranquil atmosphere where everyone is welcome.
