Though no strangers to balmy temperatures, studio director Kristina Vecsesi and her fellow certified instructors credit Bikram's heated practice for fostering their personal journeys to health and wellness. Each sweat session follows a 26-posture routine designed to warm and stretch muscles, tendons, and ligaments in the proper order. As the balancing and twisting postures increase strength and flexibility, the warm atmosphere helps limbs safely sink deeper into cobra impressions and expel harmful toxins through sweat.
