About Buddha Sushi Bar
The sushi is sea-worthy at Buddha Sushi Bar. During meals, fresh rolls float in wooden boats down a stainless-steel-bottomed "river," inviting diners to pluck off a plate at will. But the paper lanters that line the counter-style tables also illuminate a la carte creations. Signature maki rolls pair fresh fish with surprising ingredients, such as pineapple chili, cilantro, and ponzu truffle. A selection of sake and imported beer keeps diners from distilling their own wine out of soy sauce.

Sushi prices are too high for a la carte ordering. When we went it was empty-unfortunately, you don't really want to order the boat when there is no one else there. It is a shame because the space and the food are good. Service was great as well.

The presentation was much better the first time which is why we got another groupon. The second experience was not so great. Inside had a very potent odor so we decided to go outside since it was a nice evening. We ordered a VEGETABLE Thai dish as one of the entrees. We got it with chicken and it had that strong odor when we first walked in. The smell I associated it with was from going to a butcher shop where they sold live chickens as a kid. The second time we got the dish, it had that same odor. They might have used chicken stock or just picked off the chicken piece. Either way, we were not pleased. The unfiltered sake was great! Bill was over $100 without the groupon.
