Haitian Heritage Museum, Miami

This did not show Haitian Heritage. There were about 6 painting up 2 of which were painted by a Dominican artist. Definitely thought there was going to be more to this. There are plenty of Haitian artist out there for a gallery to be filled with Haitian only art work. I guarantee that Dominican galleries would not share any space with Haitians.

The host was the worst. She didn’t know anything about promoting Haitian culture. She insulted us and prided herself for being Haitian American. Our was mostly non English speaker so they didn’t too much care because we taught it’d more about creating a connection between the customer and what the museum, but nope. Some of the art are crappy. Not recommended, it’s a bust, waste of time.

Much smaller then expected, how my wife and I learned a few thing on our anniversary. Just wish it was larger.

I would consider this an art exhibit but Evelyn is such a delightful person and very knowledgeable. Please go and visit this amazing place.
