Restaurant needs updated. Friendly staff. Red sauce has meat in it...wasn't aware until I got my food. I am a vegetarian. Pasta a little over cooked. Bread was very good.

The waitress we had waiting on us last night was outstanding! Her service was great. The food was out of this world and the portions are enormous! Will go back again!!

Love the setting. The booth we sat in was nice, however, the seats were striped with duct tape, it didn't look nor feel very nice. Our waitress, I don't remember her name, was the best. Very attentive, made sure everything was to our liking. I had ordered an iced tea and thought it had a bitter taste, i told her about it and she agreed it did look very dark for iced tea. She brought me another, the same thing, bitter. This wonderful woman went back and brewed a fresh batch of iced tea. She served that to me, it looked more like iced tea color wise it did taste a whole lot better than the other 2, still a little bitter, didn't have heart to tell her. I think it may be brand of tea used

From Our Editors

Alfonso's Restaurante's kitchen crafts special-recipe red sauce for many of its classic Italian dishes. In the sicilian casserole, it boosts the flavor of tri-colored peppers, meatballs, and sausage, and it sweetens the layers of ricotta and meatballs in the baked lasagna, much better than a paste made from red Pixy Stix. Among a generous menu of pasta, veal, and seafood entrees, other house favorites include breaded and pan-seared walleye and long bone pork chops in a tomato pozzuoli sauce.
