The sushi was good but the service was poor (waitress was obviously eating her own dinner and hardly came back to refill drinks or check on us) and the restaurant looked run down (toilets with out covers on the tanks, holes in the seat cushions,etc). Music was loud hip hop which just doesn’t fit for a Japanese restaurant. We’ll go someplace else next time.

While I was seated right away, the two people that came in after me were told to wait while the waitress was talking on the phone and it didn't sound like it was work-related. The restaurant was a bit chilly. My appetizers and food came at the same time. The food was good, but the service was less than adequate.

The waitperson was more interested in watching reruns of Special Victims Unit than waiting on me. When she finally got here, without my knowing it, she charged me $4.00 extra since it was now after 2:30. Then I ordered steak teriyaki to go....no soup, no salad, lots & lots of rice, very little meat. And I ordered fried ice cream. Well, when I asked about it, she said it was in with the teriyaki. And it wasn't ice cream. They ran out. I said, it wouldn't taste very good on takeout anyway so could I have it now. they substituted fried cheesecake which was awful. I think they refried what they had put in with the takeout. All in all, I felt cheated. Big time cheated.
