Chateau Vieux-Montreal, Montreal

The place was outstanding and exceeded our expectations. Its a 5-10 min walk from our castle to the fabulous lively hood of Old Montreal! Fully equip kitchen! The reserve parking lane can only fit small cars i.e fit/smart car. Very narrow. So we parked on the street after when it was free. We ended up getting a ticket and noticed only ON license plates got the tickets but the rest did not. #lame

The location was perfect and just the overall feel and vibe from the Castle was lovely.

This was my first time to Montreal and it did not appear as safe as I expected it to be. Parking is a distance away (1/4 mile) at min. Renter is required to put dishes in dishwasher and put garbage out back door before leaving. Facility is beautiful and management staff is easy to work with, but with safety issues I felt I could not recommend. This is not a hotel and there is no soap, shampoo... so bring your own. There are limited number of towels available also. TV in master bedroom did not work and there was no remote to be found. I think for the evenings cost, I could have better spent the money other ways to entertain my family.
