Blue Note Whiskey Bar, Murfreesboro

Blue Note Whiskey Bar lives at the intersection of rye and rhythm. Almost literally, in fact; the bar is only about 40 miles north of the legendary Jack Daniels Distillery and 35 miles east of Music City itself, Nashville. The bar lives up to its name with classic and creative cocktails, such as the Gentleman's Manhattan made with Gentleman Jack whiskey. The food leans toward traditional pub classics, such as burgers and wings, but also includes a few curveballs; the salmon burger gives diners an alternative to red meat with a filet of wild caught Atlantic salmon, and the beefalo doubles down on the red meat with a burger made from a hybrid of cattle and buffalo.
