Well, this is the first time I was really disappointed in buying a Groupon. Can absolutely not recommend this resort. We had to change the room, the couch was so nasty I would not sit on it. The whole room was very dated and it appeared nobody was in there for a while, the towel had black specs on them.We did receive another room which was okay for our 2 nights.. the grounds were actually okay.

Our room was run down and dated w/ broken appliances & dryer. When we contacted the front desk regarding the issue, they said they would send up maintenance, but never did. Pest control knocked on our door and insisted on spraying pesticides per a monthly treatment to prevent cockroaches as we were told. Extremely strange, unsanitary & unprofessional. No

Had a wonderful stay!! We love Beach Colony. The check-in staff is always friendly. The $200 deposit or pay the $39.99 insurance fee is a new drawback, but I understand the hotel industry is under a lot of stress these days. But overall, we had a great time, the resort is beautiful and we will be returning!!

The first room they put us in had black mold in the bathroom and the A/C did not work. This is a very old building with only superficial updating inside, they spent their updating dollars on the grounds. We had to move to another room because they couldn’t fix the A/C (not good). The staff seemed friendly and efficient. The view was great.
