Had a great time relearning how to make mozzerella. My husband really enjoyed it and now we make it at home for special occassions. Groupon included everything it said it would.

Instructor was very knowledgeable about wine. Very interesting. He was also very welcoming and had a good sense of humor. The pizza was a little light on topping choices but came out DELICIOUS! Would definitely recommend.

The actual "making of mozzarella" lasts about 5-10 mins.. But a fun experience nonetheless. The groupon makes it a good deal!

had a really nice evening, little dissapointed in the antipasto tray , very small, so eat before you go , or eat at the restaurante, the food is very good.

I wouldn't market this as a "class." We mostly assembled some toppings on crust. There was no educational component to the pizza piece. I enjoyed hearing about the wines, but wished there was more of a 'how to taste wine' component. The pizza was really good. The wine was good and overall it was a lovely evening. I would recommend it for a nice pizza and wine date. I wouldn't recommend it as a "pizza and wine tasting class."

From Our Editors

“My love of cooking started in childhood making raviolis with my mother and grandmother,” Brick NYC's executive chef Warren Schierenbeck told Food Network in his finalist interview for the Chopped competition. The man behind Brick NYC's authentic Italian cuisine, Schierenbeck applies his childhood experiences when preparing large portions of colorful, handcrafted pastas, artisan bread, and cured meats. At wine-tasting and pizza-making events, Schierenbeck's team of convivial foodsmiths shares its culinary know-how, elucidating the olfactory properties of Italian and American varietals and teaching basic math by slicing pizzas into fractions. The restaurant's airy, rustic dining hall sets the stage for both dining and learning, surrounding patrons in brick walls draped with orange curtains.
