The location: I go to Manhattan for the shows, so I love being in walking distance of the theaters and not having to find a cab late at night. The employees are also first rate: courteous and helpful beyond the expected.

The staff was great!! The location was great!! The check in line was long, but I expected this with the holidays. Unfortunately, the heating system was very loud when it kicked on. Since it was a cold night, it would kick on a few times each hour. The heat worked well, but the loud noise when it kicked on kept us up. This was a romantic evening to the city with my wife on New Years Day to see a Broadway play and the tree. We were looking forward to a great nights sleep after New Year's Eve the night before, a nice dinner in the city, and and excellent Broadway play, but it did not happen at the Edison Hotel. Just giving some honest feedback.
