Our server was on his cell phone constantly. He was not friendly or helpful. Portions of food were small. While it was tasty, it was not good value.

Worst restaurant experience I've had in nyc in 2 years. (And I eat out every day).

good service, nice atmosphere, and excellent food. however, the deal is not as good as advertised, as the the wine and dessert they offer you are a bit lower in price then shown in the groupon.

This is an old-fashioned family-run little restaurant, the kind that used to be common in New York City, but is now hard to find. The short ribs with cous cous was wonderful.

The short ribs fell off the bone and were perfectly cooked in duck fat. The wine was a perfect complement. All three courses were sumptuous and well prepared--and the owner was most accommodating and cordial on a wintry night. And great mood music. We really liked this spot.

Confirm your reservations before going. We set up reservations and got there on time but had to wait almost an hour because they sat another table. They must have just walked in. This place is really small like only 2 tables and you can sit at the bar too to eat but only 5 chairs there. but the food was delicious! I would go back but go at a time when not so busy. We went on a Saturday night at 8pm.

Food was very salty overall. Pastilla was extremely salty, as was the kale salad dressing. The seasoning on the short rib was also too salty for us. Red wine was actually warm; the bottle was warm to the touch. Only one choice of wine.

From Our Editors

Influenced by both the Mediterranean and North Africa, Moroccan cuisine is marked by a heavy use of lamb, fragrant spices, and the French tenacity for complex cooking methods. Moroccan-born Yassir Raouli shares his take on his home country’s cooking through both a mobile bistro truck and a sedentary restaurant. He infuses his own creative aesthetic into dishes, adding duck bacon to the lamb burger and filling popovers with melty gruyere cheese. This playfulness is seen across the brunch, lunch, and dinner menus, along with an unwavering dedication to wholesome, organic ingredients obtained from small-scale farmers. The restaurant suggests all dishes be shared.
