Spice Cove's dining room feels as warm as its name implies. Here, saffron- and turmeric-colored walls are decked with a belly-dance skirt dripping with gold coins and gilded frames containing vintage photos of India. The decor perfectly sets the tone for the menu, a collection of contemporary Indian dishes that ranges from tandoori meats to vegetarian entrees. Spice Cove's specialty, however, is seafood, such as red snapper infused with the chef's special mixture of ginger and aromatic herbs. And their 11 homemade breads, including garlic naan and spinach partha, are the perfect accompaniment to any meal and can double as chair seat boosters.
