Tips
From Our Editors
Ted & Honey's fiery red edifice ushers patrons into an exposed-brick wonderland that made it to chef Gray Kunz's list of favorite restaurants in the world in T Magazine. In the shadow of shelves crowded with jars of handmade hot sauces and pickled produce, Ted & Honey's staff crafts all dishes to order using meats ferried from the Catskills’ Dines Farms and cured in-house, along with locally sourced vegetables, artisan cheeses, and homemade condiments. Likewise, the steaming mugs of coffee are all sourced from beans roasted at nearby D'Amico Foods, while the TV show spoilers are all sourced from nearby conversations. It’s all in keeping with the restaurant’s reputation for a "locavoric and DIY ethos," according to the Village Voice.
