The day I came to activate my Groupon another customer who had one too. My Y staff member counted exactly 30 days while the other staff member activated for a full month. She was arrogant and I thought it was odd that before she helped me she finished a sales call for a super low price. It felt like a scam.

Inform staff of the groupon and let them know they are using paper passes. One staff member stopped my husband and made a scene embarassing him, until one of the front clerks intervened. My husband is 35 and was treated like a shild stealing candy.
