Peter was an amazing, informative, easy to understand, knowledgeable tour guide. We rode around old and new areas of Newport, with an hour stop to tour the Breakers (picture is of the Breakers Kitchen). Highly recommend this tour when visiting Newport.

We took a family of 4 tour on Sat. Feb 17 morning. The whole van is yours. The driver is very nice and prompt in time. He is a Newport resident and knows the area pretty well. The tour speed depends on you. You will not see much more with the tour bus (if not less), and the bus is more expensive.
There was an option to combine private van tour with one of the mansions. I would not recommend. Buy a combo package for mansions and spend as much time as you need there with self guided tour.
Makes sense to spend 2 hours on driving around and getting to know the area.
I would highly recommend this private tour rather than a tour bus.

Wonderful 3 hour trip around Newport. Peter is very knowledgeable and gives you the insight for the town that only local person can. Highly recommend it.

Peter was an awesome guide explaining history as well as fun facts! The personal attention and mansion tour were great bonuses! Well worth the money - a great way to learn abort Newport!
