Horrible trip. Boat was crappy and old, had folding chairs bolted to the deck that were falling apart, no amenities at all....we had been on many whale watching trips with other companies in the area before in both Wildwood and Cape May, this was the worst we've ever been on. NEVER again. The captain was too lazy to go into deeper waters to actually see a whale and the trip that should have been 3 hours came back to the dock in 90 minutes. Rip off and a waste of time.

even if it's nice on land, take a light jacket, it's breezy on the boat!!

We made a reservation for Sunday at 6pm and they called us at 4pm and cancelled our reservation because they did not have enough people for the boat trip. I then made another reservation for Monday at 10am and was told to arrive around 9:30am. We arrived at 9:40 and were told the boat is full. After complaining the captain/owner of the boat came in with an attitude and after complaining he said we could go and when I tried to explain my disappointment in their services he said "Do you want to go or not". I felt like a school child . If it wasn't for my children really wanting to go I would have said "no". The captain/owner was very rude and ignorant. I thought a reservation meant a guaranteed spot!!!

Unfortunately it takes the boat way too long from the time it leaves the docking area untill it reaches the open Ocean Never got to see a whale The boat's captain did ventured out far enough to get a fair chance of seeing one Got to see a few dolphins along the shore I have been on other whale watching tours up in cape cod and it's much better Not my best experience by far

From Our Editors

Although Sightseer Whale & Dolphin Trips continues an almost 70-year tradition of chartering sightseers out to sea in search of wildlife, oceanography isn’t its only passion. The company also holds in high regard the patriotism and courageousness displayed by our nation's armed forces, honoring all active members of the military and their immediate families with complimentary tours through aqueous avenues. Each two- to three-hour voyage brings up to 187 guests in close quarters with the Atlantic Ocean's splash-happy mammals while a knowledgeable biologist narrates the tour. The company's cruise boat manned by seasoned captains boasts both shaded and sunny areas, and summertime travelers can count on a refreshing ocean breeze to keep them cool.
