Our experience at CAPiTOL was really awkward for a date night location because my husband and I had to sit at one of those VERY large tables. There was only one bartender/server working, and it was around 7pm on a Saturday night. He had a hard time accommodating all the needs of the customers and the bar and all the tables. He did a great job, for being the only one working, but it seemed silly to be under staffed like that. The food was fine, but over all our experience was not good enough for us to return.

Terrible service! Our waitress made us feel like a nuisance and the service was super slow. The food was good, but they had almost none of the drinks on the drink list. They have a really neat venue, but we will definitely never go back.

We had the worst service that I have ever had at a restaurant in my life here. I am not sure why they did a Groupon for food when they only have like 6 tables. This place is really just a bar. We ended up sitting outside. We told the waitress and bartender that we were out there. It took them about 10 minutes to come outside. She then came out with no menus. We ordered and waited over 1 and 1/2 hours for our food when it came we only got two of the four entrees that we ordered. The waitress said "I am sorry our kitchen staff is retarded". I was dumbfounded. She then asked if we wanted a manager and we said yes. They asked if I wanted to save my Groupon for another time and that they would only charge us for our drinks or something. I told them that I would never be back, so take the Groupon and put the table next to us meal on the Groupon as well since their food had the same issues as us and we were not paying anything more. I would not allow this company to sell Groupon's. This company is bringing down the Groupon reputation. I would be surprised if Capitol is in business in 3 months. The staff there looked miserable.

Very mis-leading ads for Happy Hour. Sign outside said 1/2 price apps and $2 draws for happy hour. We ordered several appetizers and we asked which beers where included in the $2 draws. Our waitress said any of them. We ordered several apps and maybe six diff. beers, including Guiness and Stella. When we got our bill only one app. was 1/2 price and The guiness and stella's were around 6.50 a piece. The girl then stated that the other appetizers we ordered were not included in the happy hour pricing, and that one of them was even an entree portion, we looked on the menu and it was not even an entree. She then also stated that she meant that the domestic beers were $2. We told her that she told us any of the draws were $2. The manager did adjust the price, but it was awkward to have to fight for the prices were were told and we will never be coming back. It's too bad because it seems the place has a potential to be good, but it seems to have poor management. We walked back in the area later to get our car and DJ's Dugout was completely backed and Capitol was completely empty. I think that is a testament to the service/value offered at each place.
