About Orlando Renaissance Festival

With Orlando Renaissance Festival no one gets left behind in the 21st century. The festival returns to Bill Frederick Park where guests can explore the village and find a bustling marketplace, historic craftsmen, and stages filled with music and adventure. Participants listen to minstrels weaving their music through melody and rhyme, watch entertainers balance swords and breathe fire, and cheer as jugglers and balancing acts defy gravity. Guests can visit the new Four Brothers Tavern and pub stage to drink and be merry, and even catch a live chess match, presented by LANCE Orlando. But this doesn't end here—they also get the chance to watch Viking combats, participate in period workshops and games, as well as listen to extraordinary tales told by storytellers.

A small festivals just getting established but still bigger every year. Worth it to support something local to grow.

This was such a disappointment. It was our first time here we drove over an hour and a half, dealt with Orlando traffic, paid for parking, only to find there wasn’t much of anything here at all. We walked the whole thing twice in twenty minutes. Hardly any venders or food. Doesn’t compare at all to the Renaissance fair in Tampa, or the ones I grew up with in PA. I suggest skip it, save your money.
