Established by Mario Dovalina and Edwin Ptak in 1967, the original Pepe's aimed to satisfy locals craving authentic Mexican cuisine. Now, with more than 40 locations in Chicagoland and northwestern Indiana, and with products sold from the US to Mexico, Pepe's appeases a wide audience with its hearty fare.
