The service was very slow, all our tea was long drunk by the time the food arrived. When it did it was fabulous. With more staff this would be 5*. Of note is that this place is not accessible, steps up to the door and washrooms upstairs. It is an old house and has the charm from the old building.

Nice selection of beverages and goodies. The service was very slow though. It took over half an hour to get the plate of sandwiches and cakes and our tea was long gone by then!

It was a lovely experience, eclectic setting; certainly not a setting one would normally go for "high tea", but it was interesting nonetheless. My tea was excellent. There was a bit of protein in the sugar jar (fruit fly I think). It doesn't look the cleanest, but that could be because it's a very old house.
