My french fries were cold and the place was not the cleanest. The burger was good but the price does not match the quality of the restaurant. My dessert was burnt through and through. Very disappointing.

Used to always get the BBQ with the mac and chees on it. Wish you had not taken it off the menu. Medium-well burger was extremely hard on the outside and very dry.

This is one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had in a very long time. The ordeal started right at the door. The hostesses were arguing between them about how to do their job. When calling customers to be seated, the hostess screamed their names as loud as she could instead of walking to the groups of customers and asking them for their name (table is ready). This wait was 25 min. After seated, we had to wait 15 minutes for a waiter. We had countless waiters and other staff walked by us, but no one ever looked at our table, or asked that we waited. This was the case for the 3 other tables sitting right next to us. The restaurant was very dirty and had a musty feeling. Carpet looked like it had not been cleaned for a few days. The bathrooms only had one toilet working (this was also the case for the women’s bathroom according to my wife). Bathrooms were also very dirty and the paper towel dispenser was not working. The music was very loud for the time of day and the type of crowd. This place is all about ketchup, and I love ketchup. There is no way to mess up ketchup. However “Ketchup” managed to make ketchup taste bad. Out of the sauces on the table only one tasted decent (Coke). They rest tasted like they had been sitting there for a very long time and went bad, and it takes a lot of time for ketchup to go bad. The only good points: at least the burgers were good. The waitress did apologized and provided good service once she was able to get to us. Only the waitress provided good service, everybody else including management looked like they did not care about the customers and the restaurant, and they were just waiting for their shifts to be over to go home

Didn't like this place, it felt dingy, everything was sticky, can't really explain it any other way. Will probably never go there again.

It was by far the worst dining experience I've had in years. I believe that Ketchup is famous for burgers and fries. Because I prefer fish, that's what I ordered. The fish in the fish tacos was almost raw inside with blood. The manager, Steve, came to our table and suggested that we try something else. I then order fish and chips. The fish and the accompanying cole slaw had no flavor whatsoever. My guest ordered the artichoke/spinach dip to go... I left with nothing. The manager skewed the bill to total slightly less than the $50. Groupon. He did not question our disappointment; ironically, he agreed with us.

The waiter was nice, but when I had a problem with my food, which I ask for my burger to be well done (ordered blacken burger) it came to me pink, the whole burger other then the outside. Another person at my table food was the same way. I asked for the Manager and 30 mins later Manager showed up and took the 2 meal off our bill. Waiter kept us informed that he was looking for the manager, there was 2 managers on duty and why neighter couldn't be found? After spoken to the waiter he has been there since grand opening and he said that it has been a 360 in changing. I will not be retuning should have turn around when hostess (young H.S) who didn't know what they were doing and wasn't they pleasant to be hostess. Also the table of people that seat beside us walked out after manager didn't show up and didn't pay for the food if cost $100 plus....

From Our Editors

A product of longtime best friends and entrepreneurs Lonnie Moore and Mike Malin, whose The Dolce Group has launched successful eateries across the globe, Ketchup reinterprets childhood favorites in a sleek, contemporary atmosphere. Diners saunter through a space alive with a red, white, and black color scheme, relaxing in curvy, red banquettes or futuristic-looking chairs designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. The tabletops and slatted room dividers boast comic-book-style pop art, ready to transfer onto any on hand Silly Putty, and the walls talk with whimsical portraits of ketchup and mustard bottles holding hands and Heinz bottles fading into clouds of pointillism.

Meanwhile, in the kitchen, chefs spin memories of Shake ’n Bake and macaroni washed down with Kool-Aid, creating gourmet masterpieces. Lobster finds its way into mac ‘n’ cheese, and hot dogs benefit from Kobe beef—both in the dog itself and in the chili on top. And there are plenty of options when it comes time for french fry dipping. Ketchup flavors such as root beer, ranch, and chipotle pay homage to the restaurant’s moniker, livening up Angus burgers topped with market-fresh heirloom tomatoes and Irish cheddar cheese. Moore and Malin's jazzed-up comfort food has even caught on at a sister location in Saudi Arabia, and the duo is opening another site in Istanbul, Turkey.
