It's a little known fact that, in addition to drinking wine, Dionysus loved to run—especially when someone gave him a prize afterward. The Dionysus Dash fuses all of of these passions into a 5-kilometer route that weaves through scenic vineyards. It welcomes participants to run, jog, or walk—they can take whatever pace they prefer—and it encourages costumes (think togas and Greek head pieces). Dionysus Dash keeps runners hydrated during the run, and afterward, it awards prizes to the best competitors while finishers sample wines and peruse food vendors.
