The jerk chicken and curry goat are delicious. Don't pass up on the bread pudding either. Definitely a great spot to eat. The have moved though, they are right next to the whataburger... 1313 North New Warrington Road

Called to verify closing hours, only to drive across Pensacola to discover they were closed two hours prior to confirmed time... We were excited to try them, now we're excited for a refund. ✌

Authentic Jamacian fare. Best oxtail I have had in USA. Server was extrodinary and polite. Do not be concerned or fooled by the street appearance as it is quaint to say the least. Looks like it was moved there from a Jamaican, local neighborhood.

The oxtails are amazing, so succulent. Jim enjoyed his brown chicken stew. The cabbage is fabulous. I can't wait to go back to Pensacola and eat there again, I wish they were in my town!

The food was so delicious. I had the curry goat and my friend had the oxtail. We started with the meat pies though she made us 1 spicy and 1 mild. Finger licking good Jamaican food.

My first choice, the Fish Dinner was not included for the Groupon. The meal I did have was very good.

From Our Editors

Beachy colors and Caribbean flags set a tropical scene inside Island Kitchen, an eatery that serves up the flavorful foods from Jamaica and other island nations. Fall-off-the-bone jerk chicken, oxtail, and goat curry are a few specialties, and sides, such as sweet plantains and yellow rice, round out meals. For vegetarian diners, the spot's chefs prepare jerk vegetables, curry cabbage, and other meat-free offerings.
