About Go Stand Up Paddle

The certified instructors at Go Stand Up Paddle propagate their passion for serenely skimming the waters during paddleboard lessons for first-time paddlers to aspiring paddleboard racers. The classes range in subject matter from basic skills to prodding aside herds of lake monsters to fitness—incorporating flexibility, cardio, and core-strength exercises into the low-impact, full-body sport. The teachers also lead parties to introduce groups to paddleboarding and help them to celebrate a special occasion, and Paddleboard Adventures, in which they supply the gear, know-how, and midday meal necessary to fuel paddlboarding excursions. Before setting onto the gentle body of water, athletes can rent a board or build their own out of popsicle sticks.

The instructor was self absorbed spending a good 20 mins telling us how great he was and another 10 minutes telling us how much he hated groupon. My suggestion would be to find another instructor!

Chad was great! We had previous padldling (canoe, kayak) experience so he gave us a quick lesson so we could have more time on the water. Everyone in the party was standing up within 5 minutes. Red rocks da dock is not to be missed! Stop at the marina's restaurant after your lessoon/rental and try the fish tacos.

Well the actual paddle boarding was fun, everything else was a disorganized mess. Our instructor complained a lot about the Groupon, which we felt was unprofessional & when it came to the food we had the groupon for 4 people & pd full price for 3 other people (2 of which got sick & left before we even started but we still let him keep the cash) back to the food we were suppose to get 7 meals drinks not included so bring money, he ordered us 2 fish tacos,1 chicken quesa which was cut in half for 2 people to share . When i asked the waitresses to bring us the other 3 meals so was mad & said he only paid for 4 meals! He also made sure he collected his cash tip & made sure we were off the boards by 12 even though we pd for full day board use. Was sad overall about the while experience, but I loved the actual sport.
