Casual environment, friendly staff. Need to try more menu items before rating food. Had mofongo, which was good but on the sweet side, implying the plantains used were more ripe than usual for mofongo. Still, it was good, as was hubby's choice of rice, beans, sweet plantains. Will return.

Food is pretty expensive for what you get. Ok ambiance. Good service. Will not eat there again.

Alcapurrias were delicious. The Flan de coco and camarones al ajillo y vino con tostones, was also delicious.

Very expensive for what they serve you. The appetizer I ordered of corn fritters tasted like goya frozen corn fritters, they were hard. You're better off going elsewhere for what I spent which was almost $75 over the Groupon price I paid.

Rice and beans great the tostones and chicken wings incredible but super slow service tiny pork chop for nice size price tag and they got my kids order wrong. I would have given 5 stars imstead.

Chicken wings in guava sauce, conch salad, and breaded shrimps in a lemon wine sauce—these delicious meals are essential for Cafe Borinquen, a Puerto Rican restaurant owned by Jorge Ortiz. For dessert, guests can enjoy either sweet taste of coconut flan, or spoil their taste buds with coconut macaroons with caramel and chocolate sauce.
