Oregano Italian Kitchen, Provo

Though 2,200 miles separate Provo, Utah from New York City, diners in the Bee Hive State can still dig into New York-style Italian food, thanks to Oregano Italian Kitchen. Oregano anchors its menu with classic dishes, such as spaghetti with house-made meatballs and NY strip marsala. But the kitchen here churns out its fair share of innovative creations, too, including a signature vegetarian pasta that's more colorful than the language in a mob movie: it's loaded with artichokes, red and yellow tomatoes, red and green peppers, asparagus, and a crema rosa sauce. Even most of the desserts at Oregano have a little twist, including the almond biscotti, which comes with cocoa, coffee, or house-made salted Tiramisu.
