About Northside Bakery

In 1992, Richard and Teresa Podedworny founded Northside Bakery in the heart of Greenpoint to give the Eastern European neighborhood a taste of their homeland. Not long after opening up, the bakery outgrew the small shop and shifted to Williamsburg. Today, a trio of family-operated locations serve up artisanal breads and confections.
