We had my daughter's 6th birthday party at the bakery, which we were SUPER excited about. Edible Art encouraged us to make it a drop off party, since the bakery is small and parents tend to get in the way. I believed that the bakery was going to pretty much run the show at that point. Unfortunately, it felt like they'd never worked with children before. Our cake decorator never introduced herself to the kids, she only used baking jargon during the tour so it went way over their heads, she only brought out enough chocolate milk for 1/3 of the kids so they fought over that (it shouldn't have been a choice), and then after the quick demonstration she was no longer present.

The birthday party was great EXCEPT that there really needs to be more pastry bags and icing available for the kids to use during the decorating part. They had to wait turns and then the most popular colors ran out. I know the icing doesn't really cost that much, so there should have been more. Also, during the instruction part, the kids couldn't see what the woman was doing because her body was blocking the display board. Maybe she could have had the kids gather around a table so that they were able to see. Besides that, everything was great. I'm not really complaining, only offering some suggestions. All the girls had a great time and loved the fact that they got to take home their cakes.
