About New Mexico Eye Clinic
Board-certified ophthalmologist Dr. Donald E. Rodgers spent time as a naval flight surgeon and the state surgeon for the New Mexico National Guard. He now carries over that military-trained precision to his services at New Mexico Eye Clinic. Equipped with advanced techniques and technology, Dr. Rodgers and his team conduct thorough eye exams and can treat a variety of ailments. The advanced LASIK procedure can improve impaired vision and reduce dependency on corrective contact lenses, glasses, or high-powered telescopes.

The staff was extremely attentive and professional. Dr. Rodgers answered all my questions prior to the LASIK surgery and performed the surgery exceptionally well. I was a good candidate for LASIK, and the staff was extremely flexible for scheduling my pre-evaluation, surgery, and post-evaluation appointments. Prior to the surgery, I was 20/400 in each eye. During my follow-up appointment the next day, I read the 20/15 line. During the surgery, Dr. Rodgers and his staff made sure I was comfortable during every step. I would recommend the New Mexico Eye Clinic to anyone interested in improving their eyesight with LASIK.

I showed up for my appointment and Dr Rodgers examined me more thoroughly than i had ever been examined before. At least 7 different tests were done. After my tests he pointed out the expected results. Unfortunatly I wasn't a good candidate for the surgery. I had both far and near sighted problems and the solution would have resulted in my having better vision but in both but would have monovision and would have had to wear glasses in any case, which was unacceptable. I declined the surgery.
