About Robots 4- U: Florida

Since 2007, the Robots-4-U team has been teaching children a program of STEM—science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Children absorb skills and knowledge through entertaining interactions with instructors, other campers, and robot kits. The camp maintains a 16:1 student to instructor ratio, ensuring children receive the proper amount of individual attention. Campers build robot kits comprising a brain unit and sensory appendages, which replicate seeing, hearing, touching and reading minds. Once the bots are assembled, children enter their creations into racing, dancing, and battle-bot challenges.

Problems registering. Problems getting a hold of anyone to find any information. And the actual class is taught by young-junior college students who study everything But robotics. It is a babysitting camp with K'nects and batteries.

Plan ahead, save your money because your kids are going to love it and they will want to go back for future clases. They teacher are great ! Even the director was nice and helpful . We will go back next year for sure

IT WAS A SCAM. THE CAMP NEVER MATERIALIZED AND WE WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF ITS CANCELLATION. IT WAS SCHEDULED AT A HOTEL THAT DIDNT EVEN HAVE A CONFERNCE ROOM. STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MONIES BACK AND THIS WAS IN JUNE 2015.

It was an awful experience. When we first arrived no one greeted us. We had to ask what needed to be done and then we just figured it out ourselves. The so called supervisors were not very helpful in any regards. One was on his phone most of the time. One child spent most of the time on his tablet outside the room because he didn't understand and didn't get very much help. We were so uncomfortable we actually stayed with our son everyday. My husband complained to no avail and even complained on there FB page to have it promptly removed. For us this was a waste. I would recommend you not deal with this company.
