Owner Chris Riojas has been in the restaurant business since 1984, and in his career, he has developed a menu of Mexican and Tex-Mex recipes to keep El Chris' patrons well fed and content. Diners can feast on grilled fajitas loaded with veggies, beef, chicken or shrimp, or house specialties such as hand-cut pork chops cooked over an open flame. On Friday nights, a live mariachi band entertains the restaurant’s guests and describes the make and model of double-parked cars to a lively beat.
