Days Inn & Suites San Diego near Sea World, San Diego

This place is AWFUL. The photos are a total catfish. I wouldn’t keep livestock there. We immediately cancelled and left.

This hotel was disgusting. The minute we walked into our room, we smelled mildew. Then we noticed the carpets were still wet like they had just cleaned them so that might have been where the smell came from. Unfortunately, the smell never left. We attempted to use the pull out bed, however, the sheets had so many stains on it. The couch cushions had stains as well. We could not find the controller for the bedroom. When we received cleaning services the first time, they took our soiled towels and didn't give us any new ones. We constantly had to ask for extra towels at the office. The last night, I went into the office to ask for more towels and they said they would bring them up to our room and they never showed up. We shared 3 towels amongst 5 of us (2 adults and 3 young children). The swimming pool was also very disgusting. It looked like there was milk instead of water.

The customer service sucks homeless people are all around. The breakfast is nasty, and the pool was dirty

The facility needs a major overhaul. The carpeting was dirty, the bathroom needed some maintenance, air conditioner insufficient and reset each night to 85 degrees, the towels were worn out and need replacing, and the entire place was just tired. On the positive side, it was conveniently located to all major transportation. I will choose to stay elsewhere next time.
