Terra Bistro, San Diego

At Terra American Bistro, Chef Jeff and his kitchen team craft meals from locally- and sustainably-sourced ingredients. Meals kick off with appetizers such as hand-cut truffle fries with house-made ketchup, before moving on to entrees such as local fish with heirloom tomato and blackberry ragout. The bistro's bartenders are in on the farm-to-table movement, too, as they pour wines from California winemakers and shake cocktails made with liquor infused in-house with seasonal herbs and fruits.
