Artistic Setting

Walking in to The Royale can sometimes feel more like a museum or an artist’s studio than a bar. The walls boast the rotating masterpieces of local artists, which can include everything from graphic design to oil paintings. Rustic wood accents and simple decor keep the place from feeling too stuffy, though, and the mezzanine level keeps the airy, bohemian feel intact.

Craft Libations

The drinks at The Royale are the last word in craft cocktails. Or really, just one of them is: their signature Last Word cocktail. Adapted from a classic Prohibition era recipe, green chartreuse and maraschino liqueur combine to create a bright, floral concoction. It’s not all liquor, though. Their rotating selection of craft beers includes many local picks such as Anchor Steam Pale Ale and the hard-to-find-on-tap Inception by Triple Voodoo.
