After all, she'd been helping her mom and grandma in the kitchen ever since she was a girl, what better way to honor her grandmother's legacy than through her food? Those strong family ties are what help make Lillie Mae's feel more like the dining room of a relative or family friend than a restaurant. Fresh-baked cornbread and crispy hushpuppies accompany mouthwatering plates of carefully smoked brisket and heavenly fried chicken. Every meal is more than a feast because every dish served is cooked with a bit of soul in it. And according to Rhonda, "that's what really makes it soul food."

The whole place was disgusting. The bathrooms, only 2 stalls, were worse than a gasoline station. Food was ok but I'd never go back and wouldn't use the groupon even if it was free.

I fell in love with their chicken and enjoy their greens at the same time their ribs inpress my wife. They are currently looking for a new location and I just hope they stay in Santa Clara or in/near me in Cupertino. Can't wait for their good food to be headed in my direction again.

Try the sweet tea! Macaroni and cheese, hush puppies, cornbread, all delicious. Everything is delicious and reheats well, so don't be afraid to over order.
