With its cheery red awnings, cool marble tabletops, and vibrant artwork, Fusion Restaurant would blend in nicely along the narrow side streets of a European metropolis. Although it’s firmly planted in Sarasota's historic Five Points neighborhood, the restaurant’s menu reflects a variety of international influences. For example, seafood entrees range from a rich salmon oscar to sea bass in a miso marinade. However, there are also plenty of decidedly American dishes, including fried brussel sprouts, savory soups, and gourmet salads, along with locally and sustainably sourced items, such as Nimen Ranch pork chops and strip steak.
