I enjoyed it the first time and brought back a friend to use my 2nd groupon on the day it expired and they would not honor it. Groupon refunded me and my friend said her company goes there every year for her holiday party but was going to advise them not to return. I believe it expired on the 15th and we went on the 15th and their policy is to expire midnight on the 14th. Unbelievable! Hope the extra 25 they saved was worth the loss in return patrons. The waitress said they put up a sign and would only honor 20.00 (fraud?) and that there were dozens of people in that position that night. i will continue to use Groupon but never again Jalapenos.

After reading the reviews of Jalapenos Grill I decided to purchase a Groupon and was excited to try a new Mexican restaurant. I was extremely disappointed. The service was incredibly poor and SLOW from beginning to end. We waited for over an hour to get mediocre food. I will NEVER return to this restaurant.

We were seated right away. And then at first we were told our Groupon was no good, eventhough we were there on 10/15 which was the last day you could use it. I had to ask to speak with the manager before my server told me "oh they are now taking them again, I just found out". We waited more than 20 minutes for our drinks, my grandmother had to ask 3 times for a glass of water. At 7:55 we were told our food would be out in a few minutes (this was already 25-30 minutes after we order it) and then it did not come out until 8:25. If it had not been for my grandmother needing to eat because she took her medicine, I would have got up and left. Whether it was the server, the kitchen or a combination of the two ... I will not be returning.
