Great service and yummy food.
Chorizo was over cooked and dry. Food was good, just wouldn't go back without a Groupon.
The green tamale was good, but the carne asada had no flavor whatsoever, and the bean, cheese and potato taco was similarly tasteless, with potato pieces still raw inside.
Great food, great price, nice outside area to sit and eat. Need more places like this in AZ.
Great Mexican food with quick service
You people need to learn to smile and show the respect to a customer....That old angry bag I had to deal with today acted like she was doing me a favor by taking my order. The man preparing the lunch at least had a smile on his face, I don't give a flying F if they have been open since the 20s. nasty and rude is the order of this place and I wont ever go there again!!!!! I am the reason they are in business not because they are so so,so good. I have been eating Mexican food in this valley since 1953... If you want the best at better prices go to Don Hoses at 38th. st. and Thomas THey are the best of the rest that have closed!! El Molino is over priced for what they offer, its ambiance is worse than taco bell, so where do they come off as such an uppity place with high prices! Dons, you wont get better mex. unless you don't understand what authentic Valley of the Sun Sonoran style Mexican I all about. Its about the old families in Phoenix have perfected Sonoran style Mex. valley of the Sun, savor and sweet taste of how Valley of the Sun families have remained true to their heritage. There are a few others left, I admit the two best, in my opinion have closed. But DONS is the best of the rest!!!!
Food is good but they would not take my groupon voucher that I had just got the day before.
Great authentic Mexican food!
From Our Editors
El Molino Mexican Cafe was built on the shoulders of a family whose compelling story begins in Chihuahua, Mexico, and Spain at the dawn of the 20th century. First opened in 1937 and operated by the same family to this day, El Molino Mexican Cafe uses five generations of recipes to shape its menu.
The kitchen heats up early, churning out breakfast tacos and burritos before switching gears midday to focus on a wide spread of Mexican favorites for lunch and dinner. Cooks prepare everything from classic quesadillas and enchiladas to tortilla-based Mexican pizzas crowned with cheese, green chiles, ground beef, and potatoes.
