They did not want to accept our expired Groupon and provide us the amount that we actually paid for the Groupon. They served us a Italian Table that was family style and whatever they wanted to serve us. Roasted chicken with asparagus and potatoes, clams, lobster and mushroom pasta, just not what we had in mind. Portions so small that we all left hungry.

This was the most delicious and simple meal I've help make, it was almost unbelievable. Considering I was the only guy in a class of 13, this would be a great place for a single guy to learn a few things.

This is a great find in the Pioneer Square area. TIP: rather than order from the menu ask about a fixed price option ranging from $25-$50 per person. You'll be pleased you did!

Bad. Just bad. A select couple got to actually do some "cooking". Not enough work stations. Poor results. Smells like smoke.got two glasses of wine, and after taxes bill came to $48. Wouldn't recommend to anyone

The pasta and pork loin were really good but the dessert and appetizers were really bad. The chef is knowledgeable and we learned some good things but I would not go back. The wine was terribly overpriced and not special but that's how they make their money apparently! All in all, it was somewhat of a fun but odd evening and we spent too much money. I would love to recommend it...but I can't!

Simply don't go!! The owner is a rude condescending idiot. We left before desert . If you like lots of pepper in your food you'll like the food.

Costs way more than we thought it would... An extra $80 weren't expecting at the end of the class.

From Our Editors

Growing up in the Italian port town of Brindisi, Luigi DeNunzio frequented the colorful outdoor markets with his father. Surrounded by stalls bursting with local produce, meat, fish, and dairy, Luigi discovered his love of rustic cuisine composed from the freshest regional ingredients. After immigrating to Seattle in 1977, Luigi amassed experience in both cooking and business while working at a handful of the city's Italian restaurants. In 1989, he opened Al Boccalino, where tables covered in white linen host plates of hearty Italian fare. Since then, Luigi has expanded his oeuvre to include cooking classes as well as a second, more casual eatery, Café Bengodi.
