Tried to make a reservation before the Groupon expired and the restaurant had closed! Boooo.

We showed up close to closing and our server was very gracious about it. The spinach gnocchi was a different texture than I was expecting, but DELICIOUS. Everything we had was great.

I was very disappointed. We made reservations through OpenTable for Monday the 7th, arrived at our scheduled reservation time, and there was a sign on the door that said "Closed for Maintenance". No phone call, nothing saying that they were going to be closed. The unfortunate thing about it is I live on the WAY other side of town, made a special trip for this dinner, had a Groupon to use by a certain date, and they were closed. When I made the reservation my phone number was included. The least they could have done is make a simple phone call. My Groupon expires in 2 days, and I will not be able to make it back there before then. Very frustrating!

Food: Mediocre. Lots of heavy cream. Antipasti plate had 4 slices of grocery store meat. Quality was poor. A lot of things on the menu were out. Clearly, this place is going out of business. Prices: Ridiculous for what it is. Even after applying the Groupon, we paid about $120 for 2 for 2 appetizers, 2 entrees. Service: Slow and disorganized. Brought out our salad after the entree. Bottomline: Don't fall for this offer. It is overpriced, food is bad and service is poor. This place deserves new management/ownership. It is in a cool location and general ambience is great.

Food was ok but the service was sloppy at best. Not busy and our server was distracted with friends and her mother. My food dropped off and my wine glass was empty. No one offered another glass. I waited a little. I was sure our server was going to come by to see how our food was but still nothing. I finally waved her down across the restaurant and I received another glass about the time I was taking my last bite. I was looking forward to Branzino and really liked the atmosphere but we were disappointed. Our requirements were really pretty simple. We'll try it again sometime since we liked the atmosphere and I work only a few blocks away but it was really a missed opportunity. A little training could go a long way.
