My husband and I enjoyed learning how to make fresh pasta! We made fresh fettuccini and spaghetti noodles that we took home and defi NJ Italy know enough to make imfrsh pasta at home now. An added bonus was all the samples we got to try of the wonderful dishes made at Eat Local, the Red Thai Chicken Curry was so good that we purchased a batch to take home. Good experience!

Went there with my 11yr old daughter for the amazing marshmallow class and we both had a great time learning how to pick mallows from the marshmallow trees there. The instructors were awesome and marshmallows even better!

It's was good but there wasn't that much space to cook.

The pasta making class was good - I now feel comfortable making it at home. However, they were really trying to sell their pre-made food all throughout the class, and neither my mom nor myself liked any of the tastings, and didn’t appreciate how hard they pushed their products.

Myself and a friend attended the pasta making class. We both walked away with enough for 2 to 3 meals. While we were making the pasta we were served delicious samples of all the locally sourced meals that are available in the freezers downstairs. I️ definitely took advantage of my 10% discount to buy meals. I️ highly recommend!

The instructor made the steps easy and offered different options for the types of noodles. Noodles need to be eaten or frozen within 24 hours so plan your next meal accordingly!

The pickling class was awesome. The instructor, Nathan did a great job. Would go back for other classes.

Nathan was a fantastic teacher! He was trained in Italy, and makes delicious pasta. I was the only vegetarian out of my group, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate me. Such a fun class! Make sure to bring cash for tips :)

The pasta making class was fun, and Eat Local also provided several sample size portions of different foods to try that filled us up!

We had a great time. The only thing we were a little frustrated with was it felt rushed but we were a few minutes late because of traffic. We got to take home a lot of pasta and I bought a gift card for my son in Queen Anne. We would highly recommend them. RP

From Our Editors

Eat Local’s chefs create locally-sourced meals from scratch, and teach cooking students how to do the same. Every item on the menu is handmade using west coast ingredients: grass-fed meats, free-range chickens, and organic or sustainably-grown local produce. The staff places food items in biodegradable packaging, and, for cooked meals, freezes them to maintain flavor and quality. Eat Local Frozen Meals can be bought in-store or shipped to individual doorsteps or rabbit holes. Those jonesing to make their own edibles can enroll in classes that guide the creation of pasta, pies, and even marshmallows.
