About Casa Bianca

Though it's closed to the public three days out of the week, Casa Bianca is rarely empty. The restaurant hosts private parties from Monday to Wednesday—everything from corporate soirees to weddings with cake made by Casa Bianca's own Chef Kim. It's a natural spot for such events: the historical farmhouse's stone walls cradle a crackling fireplace, and a garden path winds toward a cheery gazebo in the lush backyard. Groups can also gather beneath an outdoor tent to try piping-hot entrees and rank the heartfeltness of each other's toasts.

Of course, even when there's no party planned, the kitchen remains hard at work. The menu of Italian-American classics includes lasagna, crab-stuffed salmon, and, in summer, caprese salad made from tomatoes and basil grown onsite. Other dishes have a more modern bent, such as the prime-rib pizza and the vegetarian eggplant "meatballs." Live music supplies the soundtrack on Friday evenings.

Saturday, May 30, was their last day as a restaurant serving the public. They will continue hosting events until November or December. IMHO, a real loss to our community.
