About Theta Float Spa

Inside one of the pods at Theta Float Spa, the whole world drifts away as patients relax in a dense pool of saltwater heated to body temperature. It's a soothing, meditative experience designed to reconnect mind and body and ease stress. It helps in the treatment of PTSD as well. The whole process is meant to spark a neural phenomenon called "theta rhythm," which can be found when deeply immersed in meditation, an intense dream, or a really good song. Benefits vary from person to person, but may include better sleep, lower blood pressure, relief from arthritis, chronic pain, anxiety, and depression, and increased athletic performance, memory, abstract reasoning, and creativity.

This was my second float. I would advise if your first float isn’t great, try it one more time. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. They don’t rush you either. The cabin is great too - very spacious. I’ll be making this a regular routine. It’s helped tremendously with my anxiety.
